Audio-Technica is thrilled to announce the return of the Sound Burger portable turntable to its regular lineup, roughly half a year after the successful release of a limited-edition retro red model. This beloved fan favorite is making a comeback 40 years after its original debut, following the overwhelming response to the limited-edition release in the fall of 2022. The retro red model sold out within days worldwide, prompting Audio-Technica to bring back the Sound Burger for its loyal fans.

Designed with portability in mind, the Sound Burger combines a nostalgic aesthetic with modern updates. It is the perfect addition to parties, compact living spaces, or picnics. This affordable entry-level turntable comes with Bluetooth® connectivity, USB charging, and an impressive battery life of up to 12 hours.

The Sound Burger delivers high-quality sound reproduction through its belt-drive system, capable of playing 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records. The tonearm features a dynamic balance system, ensuring both portability and stability. Stylus pressure is applied via a spring mechanism, while a high-precision DC motor ensures stable rotation. For those who prefer an analog, wired listening experience, the turntable also includes an audio cable.

Available in three eye-catching colors – black, white, and yellow – the Sound Burger is priced at $199 (MSRP). It comes with a range of accessories, including a 45 RPM adapter, an RCA audio cable (3.5 mm male to dual RCA male), and a USB cable for charging (USB Type-A / USB Type-C™). Additionally, the Sound Burger features a replaceable stylus, ensuring long-lasting use.

Audio-Technica, founded in 1962, has always been committed to providing high-quality audio for everyone. From their critically acclaimed headphones to turntables and microphones, the company believes that great audio should be accessible to all, not just a select few. With a focus on expanding the limits of audio technology and pursuing an ever-changing purity of sound, Audio-Technica continues to create connections and enrich lives.
